SOUND OF MUSIC CAST LIST

Below is the full cast list for The Sound of Music. We had over 90 young people audition which is amazing. We are so blessed that they had the courage to do this. Unfortunately because of space constraints, not all could be cast. We encourage them to keep singing, and to attend the drama camp this fall if they are able. It will help them grow as performers and have fun as well.

Some younger students have been cast as nuns and soldiers. Please check those areas as well. Nuns will rehearse on Thursday after school in the HS chorus room. Students cast as von Trapp children will rehearse next Monday and Thursday at 3:45 in the chorus room. Calendars will be sent to all schools for those younger students to pick up on Thursday. For those who were not cast, we will be having a young actors clinic this spring, and those students who attend will get to participate in a song during the Saturday matinee performance. 1. Develop a sense of family and the importance of relationships

2. Remember that everyone has their own voice and deserves to be heard.

3. Accept people for who they are, not who we want them to be.

4. Make sure that all people, all parts, and all performances are relevant.

5. Allow all students a place they can call home.
